    A refined and sober (never austere) atmosphere, an elegant host to travellers, designed for citizens of the World, Lisbon lovers, and anyone enjoying Portugal and wishing to discover a city with history. 

    For up to 122 guests and open from 7am to 1am, it suggests boarding into a spacious dining room offering executive lunches and dinners à la carte.

    A majestic bar in the centre recreates a refined atmosphere reminiscent of the inside of a restaurant car on a train, with a snack menu made up of all sorts of regional raw materials that arrive by rail at Santa Apolónia.

    The Menu

    A restaurant that is the central station of many regional lines

    A meeting point for the main Portuguese products, the restaurant Impulso is an ode to authenticity: a menu overflowing with fun dining options to share, the dishes are inspired by the products that faithfully represent the regional tracks that converge at Santa Apolónia Station.

    Seasonal products and exquisite flavours from all parts of the country have inspired Chef André Silva to create contemporary dishes with regional inputs that harmonise with a list of Portuguese wines from different regions. Approximately 500m2 divided into living room and restaurant with open kitchen resembling a ticket office with windows looking onto the station itself.

  • The Chef

    Born in Valongo, André Silva has extensive experience in different restaurants, asserting himself as a well-known name in the sector, after several years in the cuisine of the Hotel Casa da Calçada Relais & Chateaux, distinguished with a Michelin star.

    Winner of several prizes, including “Revolta do Bacalhau”, “Chef Cozinheiro do Ano”, “Garfo de Ouro” from the restaurant guide Guia Boa Cama Boa Mesa, André Silva attended several international institutions where he trained in different types of cuisine.

    A newcomer at Impulso Restaurant, André Silva sublimes any gastronomic experience.
