Terms and Conditions - GIVEAWAY “MEO MARÉS VIVAS”

    • This giveaway is promoted by SC Hospitality S.A. – company with VAT number 509 011 977 and headquartered at Edifício Sonae Capital, Lugar do Espigo, Via Norte, 4471-907 Maia.


      Participation in the Giveaway implies the full and unreserved acceptance by Participants of the terms and conditions set out in this text, and by participating in the competition, they declare that they accept the terms and conditions set out in these Regulations.

    • The Promoting Entity of this giveaway is THE EDITORY COLLECTION HOTELS S.A.

      The current giveaway aims the promotion of the tourist services of The Editory Collection Hotels.

    • Interested parties must participate through the The Editory Collection Hotels Instagram profile (@editoryhotels), with access to the participation rules being available on the link of The Editory Collection Hotels Instagram bio.

      The eligibility conditions for participation are:

      • follow @editoryhotels and @portopalaciohotel profiles on Instagram;

      • answer, in a comment, what is the name of the plastic artist whose works are exhibited at Porto Palácio by The Editory, namely at Madruga Restaurant?
      • Invite 2 more friends to enter the Giveaway.

      Any individual over 18 years of age can participate in this competition.

    • The competition will run for 24 hours, starting at 3pm on 12 July 2023.  After this date, new entries will not be considered valid.

    • a) The fastest person to answer correctly will receive 1 Double Daily Ticket Meo Marés Vivas Festival – Day 15, in Vila Nova de Gaia.

       

      b) Entries will be assessed by a jury composed of The Editory Collection Hotels Marketing team.

      c) The winner will be contacted through the @editoryhotels profile and will be asked to give his/her complete Name and ID for confirmation of personal data, at the time of collecting the prize.

      d) The winner should go to the Porto Palácio by The Editory reception on Av. Boavista, 1269, Porto to collect his/her prize until the 15th of July.

       

      e) Should the winner fail to identify themselves within 24 hours of their announcement, other winners will be selected.

       

      f) THE EDITORY COLLECTION HOTELS S.A. is not responsible for the impossibility of contacting the winner(s) or delivering the prize due to incorrect or incomplete data.

      g) If the winner(s) are unable to receive the prize, no other prizes or substitute value will be awarded, nor any type of compensation.

    • a) THE EDITORY COLLECTION HOTELS S.A. may suspend participants, without prior or subsequent notice, which it considers to be violating or defrauding the rules of the Contest.

       

      b) THE EDITORY COLLECTION HOTELS S.A. reserves the right to eliminate any participant and/or their respective participation that is in any way violating these terms and conditions.

       

      c) THE EDITORY COLLECTION HOTELS S.A. reserves the right to eliminate entries depending on their content or whenever one of the cases occurs: (i) Defamation or violation of the rights of third parties; (ii) Discrimination based on gender, race or religion; (iii) Indication of defamatory links, with offensive, obscene or violent content; (iv) Violation of commercial or intellectual property rights; (v) Incorporation of viruses or other electronic or physical elements that could damage or impede the normal functioning of the website.

       

      d) THE EDITORY COLLECTION HOTELS S.A. reserves the right to terminate, alter, shorten, delay or extend this action at any time, in the event of any illegal or fraudulent activity, or any external factor, beyond the control of the organization, which affects the smooth running of the giveaway. In these circumstances, participants will not be entitled to any type of compensation. The suspension of the giveaway will be announced on The Editory Collection Hotels Instagram and Facebook profiles.

       

      e) The prize cannot be substituted or transferred to another person, and there is no possibility for the winner to receive a cash prize as an alternative.

       

      f) Employees of The Editory Collection Hotels, as well as their first-degree family members, are not allowed to participate in this giveaway.

       

      g) The cases not covered by these terms and conditions will be resolved by SC Hospitality S.A. and their decisions will not be appealed.

    • The identification data provided by the participant is intended exclusively for the management of the Giveaway, July 2023.


      The winner expressly consents to the use of their name on Instagram to participate in the manner and means that THE EDITORY COLLECTION HOTELS S.A. deems appropriate. By providing their personal data under and within the Giveaway, the Participant declares that they are true and that they are responsible for communicating any changes to them that may be necessary.

      The provision of personal data is mandatory, being necessary for the management of the Giveaway.

      The personal data transmitted to THE EDITORY COLLECTION HOTELS S.A. will be by it, or by the entity by this subcontractor for this purpose, used and processed for the purposes of managing the Giveaway.

      Participants in this giveaway have the right to information, access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition to their data, and in order to exercise such rights, they must do so in writing to the following email address: marketing@editoryhotels.pt.


      Considering the purpose behind the collection of your personal data, they will be transmitted to the entity subcontracted by THE EDITORY COLLECTION HOTELS S.A. that will manage the Giveaway.
